Short Article on Convening General Conference
For me I got to witness answered prayers. Prayers from myself and others hoping that God would be present in all that took place. From the beginning of the opening worship service, you could sense the presence of God. Time and time again we would experience God working in a variety of way leading people to surrender their own preferences, letting go of past hurts, and remaining focused on the things that matter the most. My takeaway was that this is only the beginning. I pray that this would create in us all a fire that continues into 2026 and beyond as we seek to be the church God is calling us to be. God is with us!
